In Turkey, camping is generally tolerated outside national parks and private property. Set up at dusk and pack up early. Do not light fires; use a gas stove where possible, and leave no waste behind.
Village fountains and mosque ablution fountains are generally chlorinated mains water or natural springs. Even when mountain water looks clear, carry a portable mini filter or purification tablets on longer rides.
At campsites, pitch where you can see your bike or lock it to a tent stake. Label your name when leaving a power bank with reception or the shared kitchen for charging.
